Drone Survey and Material Sampling
The drone is deployed to conduct an aerial survey of the stockpile. The drone captures numerous photographs from various perspectives to ensure comprehensive coverage. While on-site we take multiple samples of the mixed aggregate, which is also documented for transparency.

Collect Ground Control Points
In order to accurately map the area, ground control points are established on the site. These are known points with precise coordinates that are visible in aerial photographs. These points are surveyed using GPS or other surveying techniques to determine their exact coordinates.

Processing
The images are then processed using specialized software to create a 3D model of the area. The software uses algorithms to match and stitch the images together, and to extract information such as elevation, terrain features, and other attributes. The ground control points are then integrated into the model to increase the accuracy of the mapping. The software uses the known coordinates of these points to correct any errors or distortions in the model.

ABOUT US
Starting in 2018, we began to explore volumetric measuring techniques. This led us to specialize in providing highly precise surveys of our customers' stockpiles and aggregates. We discovered that many of our customers who had docking facilities were using water displacement methods to determine weight, which we found could result in significant discrepancies. Even the smallest measurement error could lead to differences of hundreds of tonnes between the estimated and actual weight.
Our quarry and dock customers often rely on expensive surveyors who would spend weeks delivering their results while our process has very quick turn-around times with out sacrificing accuracy.
